What do I get, and how often?
Free covers two e-mail products. The Premarket Brief: one e-mail every trading day, delivered 08:45–09:10 ET, before the 09:30 ET open. Event Radar: from premarket through after-hours, an issue goes out only when something new qualifies, and there is no fixed quota. Desk Alpha – Personal ($99 / month, taxes extra) adds the Live Watchlist web page, which updates about once per second during the session.
How do I get the Live Watchlist?
Subscribe to Desk Alpha – Personal: sign in and subscribe on the billing page — $99 / month, taxes extra; cancel any time, access to the end of the paid period — then sign in to the Live Watchlist with the same e-mail address by e-mail code. The wallet path to the on-chain view alone (Pro Lite) is not open yet; you can register by e-mail meanwhile, and once it opens your own self-custodied wallet unlocks a read-only on-chain view with no fiat fee.
What do the plans cost?
Free is $0. Desk Alpha – Personal is $99 / month, taxes extra, billed monthly through the payment provider with Link as the seller of record; cancel any time, access to the end of the paid period; it is for personal use. The on-chain view (Pro Lite) is not open yet; once it opens it unlocks with a wallet and carries no fiat fee — we never charge your card for it. Prices are in USD.
How do I cancel, and are there refunds?
Free: click the unsubscribe link in any e-mail, effective immediately. Desk Alpha – Personal: cancel any time from your Link account or the desk's billing page; access continues to the end of the paid period. Refund requests go to Link support or hello@catalystdesk.ai and follow the payment provider's process. The on-chain view (Pro Lite) is not open yet; once it opens, revoking the approval in your own wallet ends it, and since we never charge your card there is no payment to us to refund.
Is Free just a cut-down version of the paid plan?
No. Free is two complete e-mail products — nothing is downgraded and no second-class data is substituted. The difference is the form of delivery: Free gets the e-mails, Desk Alpha – Personal adds the Live Watchlist.
How are readings made while New York is closed?
The listed share stops trading while its on-chain synthetic perpetual keeps going — after the close, overnight, at weekends and on holidays, until the premarket tape returns. In that time the share's reference price is an anchor whose confidence fades, and every reading labels which anchor it used and how confident it is; a thin book raises the bar for a trigger and an empty book produces none. All times are US Eastern (ET).
What is your relationship with on-chain venues, deployers or outcome markets?
None. We index public data. We are not the agent, affiliate or partner of any venue, deployer, oracle or market, and none endorses us; we operate, list, deploy and settle no market. We touch no private key, hold no funds and match no orders. If you choose the optional on-chain channel, orders are signed in your own wallet and go straight to the protocol; the protocol may then pay us a channel fee you approve yourself and a referral share — shown before you sign, and set out under the compensation disclosure in the Disclaimer.
How does Trade to Unlock work?
(The channel is not open yet — this is how it will work once it is; you can register by e-mail meanwhile.) It is one on-chain approval — not a subscription and not a volume hurdle. In your own wallet you sign a plain-text message proving the address is yours (no transfer, no order) and approve a small builder fee for the desk's on-chain channel; once the desk reads that approval from the public on-chain record, the address unlocks the realtime on-chain view. The venue charges the fee, at the rate you approved, only on orders you actually fill through the channel — if you never trade you pay nothing, and we never charge a card. The desk re-confirms the approval periodically; you can revoke it in your wallet at any time, and the address then loses the on-chain view at its next check. The channel opens by jurisdiction and is not offered in restricted ones.
I run a community. How do I carry the tape into my own group?
Not today. The messenger bot is not available and no date has been announced; the delayed tape is published on this site only. If you want to hear when that changes, write to alerts@catalystdesk.ai.
I am in the United States or another restricted jurisdiction. What can I use?
The e-mails and the delayed cross-market tape are a publication and a data display, and you may subscribe to them free of charge as usual. The Live Watchlist is part of Desk Alpha – Personal, which you subscribe to online after signing in and which is billed through the payment provider; the provider does not accept purchases from some regions, including mainland China, so the plan cannot currently be bought from them. The optional on-chain channel is not offered to persons in the United States, mainland China or any other jurisdiction that restricts such products, so Trade to Unlock does not apply either; we do not help anyone circumvent a venue's, a regulator's or the payment provider's restrictions.
Is this investment advice?
No. Everything on all three surfaces is human decision support — market information and analysis. We issue no trade instruction, we do not connect to brokerage accounts, we place no orders, and we do not assess anyone's circumstances or give personalised advice. Every decision, order and outcome remains the user's own.
Where does the data come from, and why don't you name the sources?
Consolidated real-time US equities and options market data from institutional-grade feeds, updated continuously through the session. We do not name any market-data feed, news source, broker or model provider — that is how we treat supplier relationships generally, and it says nothing about data quality. The way to judge the data is to look at the page: every surface is time-stamped and carries an 'as of' clock, and on the Live Watchlist the Data status column labels delayed or stale data.
Why aren't thresholds, parameters or formulas published?
The catalyst ontology and the regime models are our own work, and publishing their arithmetic would degrade it. We state this as explicit policy rather than leaving it vague: the marketing pages carry names and artefacts only — catalyst classes, setup taxonomies, column names. No formula, threshold, window length or weight appears on them. What each column means is explained inside the product after sign-in.
What happens when data is delayed or interrupted?
The Live Watchlist labels affected rows as delayed or stale — that is what the Data status column is for — and the content of an e-mail carries its own time-stamps, so you can always tell when a reading was taken. The service-status strip on this page answers one question only: whether the Live Watchlist service is reachable right now — reachable, explicitly unavailable, or unconfirmed from here. It says nothing about the freshness of any individual symbol.
I'm not in the US Eastern zone — and will the e-mails land in spam?
Every time on this site and in the products is US Eastern (ET) and is written with the ET suffix, so it converts cleanly. We send from alerts@catalystdesk.ai; adding it to your contacts helps. Subscription is double opt-in: you first receive a confirmation e-mail and the subscription starts only when you click the link inside it — a step that also helps later deliverability.
Is it bilingual, do I need to install anything, and can a team share one account?
This site and the factual email brief support English, Spanish, Portuguese and Chinese. Full research originals remain in English/Chinese and are labelled. The Live Watchlist remains bilingual in English and Simplified Chinese. It runs in the browser, with nothing to install. Each Desk Alpha – Personal account is for its subscriber only and may not be shared. Team and API access are in development; contact hello@catalystdesk.ai to discuss requirements.
Will you publish performance or win rates?
No. The product issues no trade instructions, so there are no outcomes to attribute to it; any win-rate or return figure would contradict that. What we can offer instead are verifiable facts — delivery cadence, time-stamping and status labelling — all stated on this page so you can check them yourself.
